Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin was encouraged to return to St. James’ Park by Hatem Ben Arfa.

Newcastle United fans are once again urging Steve Bruce to move for Hatem Ben-Arfa, as they are desperate for a reunion with their former playmaker.
Ben Arfa helped persuade Allan Saint-Maximin to make a move to Newcastle, as he spoke to the French winger before he made the move to St. James’ Park.
Saint-Maximin revealed to the Shields Gazette: “Hatem spoke to me. I talked with a lot of players. They said to me it’s a great club, a great city and the supporters are great. Everything is great. This is why I came.”
Newcastle supporters are now very thankful to Ben Arfa and they have urged Bruce to bring him back to St. James’ Park.
Ben Arfa is available as a free agent right now, so he would be a budget option for Newcastle.
However, Bruce has already managed the enigmatic attacker and failed to get the best out of him at Hull City.
Newcastle, therefore, look highly unlikely to push for a return for Ben Arfa, even though their supporters are hoping that it happens.
Newcastle begin their campaign at the weekend, when they take on Arsenal.
