Newcastle United defender Emil Krafth impressed fans with his performance in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Monday night.
The Magpies were desperately seeking points against United as they look to stay in the Premier League.
Allan Saint-Maximin gave Newcastle the lead in the first half, but both he and Callum Wilson ended up going off injured.
United did get their leveller through Edinson Cavani, but Newcastle almost won it with Jacob Murphy rattling the post.
This may feel like two points dropped for Newcastle given how impressive they were, with many players shining.
Much of the focus has been on Joelinton’s midfield masterclass – and rightly so – but defender Krafth was outstanding too.

Newcastle fans praise Krafth
Swedish international Krafth was handed a start at right back and turned in a strong performance.
Krafth recorded four clearances, two interceptions, two aerial duels won, one blocked shot, one successful dribble, one tackle and one key pass in an all-round performance.
Krafth created the big chance of the second half, putting in a fine cross for Saint-Maximin, but he couldn’t score from close range.
Newcastle fans have been taking to Twitter to praise Krafth, suggesting he was ‘brilliant’ and ‘sensational’.
Some seemingly had little faith in Krafth, but think Eddie Howe must be ‘genius’ to get this display out of the Swede.
