Newcastle United continue to be linked with a host of players after their takeover, with Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Conor Coady now tipped for a move.
The Magpies will need signings in January to stay in the Premier League and defenders have to be a priority.
Coady is now on Newcastle’s wish list according to The Sun, with at least £20million needed to sign him.
It’s understood that PIF advisor Frank McParland is a huge fan of Coady and is recommending Newcastle make a move.
McParland worked with Coady at Liverpool and now wants to see him doing Newcastle in the January transfer window.
Newcastle fans react to Coady rumour
Coady called Newcastle an ‘absolutely incredible’ club after their takeover went through, and fans would like him to join.
Magpies fans have been taking to Twitter to suggest that Coady is exactly what this Newcastle team needs.

Some highlighted his leadership and character, even telling Newcastle to make him captain if he joins.
Others called Coady ‘class’ and ‘brilliant’, urging the club to bring him to Tyneside.
Whether Wolves would let him go in the middle of the season remains to be seen, but this is one rumour Newcastle fans seem to like.
