Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Fiorentina right back Dodo – and he shares an agent with Bruno Guimaraes.

The Magpies may well look to add to their Brazilian contingent moving forward.

Joelinton has reinvented himself as a quality box-to-box midfielder whilst Bruno has been a revelation after arriving from Lyon.

There have been links to other Brazilians such as Andrey Santos and Angelo Gabriel and Newcastle are now being offered another Brazilian talent.

Newcastle United have been offered Dodo

The Chronicle report that Newcastle have been recommended to sign Fiorentina star Dodo, possibly by his agency.

Dodo is represented by the Bertolacci Sports agency – the same agency used by Bruno Guimaraes.

Bertolacci Sports also represent the likes of Diego Carlos, Roger Ibanez and the aforementioned Andrey Santos, who have all been linked with Newcastle.

It seems that Newcastle are forming a strong relationship with Bertolacci Sports and Dodo is now a player to consider.

Dodo, 24, excelled with Shakhtar Donetsk by racking up 17 assists and five goals in 97 games for the Ukrainian aside.

Dodo decided to leave Shakhtar over the summer and headed off to Italy with Fiorentina.

Now featuring regularly in Serie A, Dodo could end up at Newcastle alongside Bruno.

Newcastle appear to be in the market for a young right back to develop behind Kieran Trippier, hence links to Cody Drameh and Harrison Ashby.

Dodo is a little older and a big concern will be that he stands at just 5ft 5in tall – which some may consider small for the Premier League.

This isn’t the first time Dodo has been linked with a move to England though.

UOL Esporte claimed earlier this year that Arsenal fancied Dodo whilst reports in Brazil suggested in 2021 that Tottenham had made an offer.

Neither of those moves materialised and Newcastle may now present the best route to England for Dodo.

Quick and exciting going forward, Dodo could be a fascinating signing for Newcastle and the decision will now be left to Dan Ashworth and Eddie Howe.
