Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles scored for his side yesterday.

Newcastle drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday, despite having a lead in the contest.
Lascelles scored a powerful header to put Newcastle into the lead, but they were unable to build on that goal.
The Magpies ultimately were penned back by Wolves in the second half, as Nuno’s side continued to build more and more pressure on the hosts.
Wolves eventually struck an equaliser through Jonny, as Newcastle let two points slip.
And Lascelles feels that if Newcastle had been more clinical then they could have wrapped up the victory before Wolves threatened to comeback.
“We did have a couple of chances first half – if we go 2-0 up at half-time, it completely changes things,” Lascelles said.
“We do need to be a little bit more ruthless, see games off, have more nous and be a bit more streetwise, just little things and I think that’s what’s killing us recently, to be honest.”

If Newcastle are to be more clinical they are in dire need of finding a goalscorer.
Record signing Joelinton has scored just one goal since joining, with the striker struggling badly.
Newcastle’s draw with Wolves has left them in 17th place in the Premier League table.
