Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles suffered an injury at the weekend.

Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Luton Town at the weekend.
Premier League club Newcastle got the better of League Two outfit Luton 3-1 at home in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Lascelles started the tie at St. James’ Park, but the 24-year-old defender had to be substituted on the half-hour mark.

The former Nottingham Forest defender suffered a groin injury during the match, but the former England Under-21 international has taken to Twitter to allay fears over it, perhaps a suggestion that he will not miss any game because of it.
The defender has also expressed his delight at Newcastle’s win against Luton.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Newcastle had 65% of the possession, took 33 shots of which nine were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
Rafael Benitez’s will return to action this coming Saturday when they take on Swansea City at St. James’ Park in the Premier League.
