Newcastle United managed to pick up a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Newcastle managed to get a point from Selhurst Park, after drawing 0-0 with the Eagles.
In a game of few chances, the Magpies defended very well, to ensure that they kept a clean-sheet.
And Newcastle defender Lascelles has praised both Yedlin and Dummett for their roles in keeping Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha quiet.

“Everybody knows he’s a good player and, on his day, he’s sometimes unplayable,” Lascelles added. “But I thought DeAndre did well, and then Dummy (Paul Dummett) did when he went to the other side, too.”
Even Palace boss Roy Hodgson admitted that that Zaha had his quietest game in a long time against Newcastle.
Rafael Benitez’s side did still have to survive a few scares, but they held on to claim what could be a valuable point.
Newcastle are currently in 18th place in the Premier League table, and are still looking for their first win.
