Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has come on to the radar of Newcastle United in recent times.
Newcastle have been quoted a price of £13.4 million for the forward by Arsenal, which is proving to be a stumbling block at the moment.
However, if Newcastle were able to get a deal over the line – Perez could be ideal for their needs.

Newcastle already have Dwight Gayle up-front, who is expected to lead the line next term.
However, Benitez has been looking to add a creative threat to play with Gayle for much of the summer so far.
Question marks remain over many of Benitez’s current options in the number 10 position at Premier League level, with Siem De Jong and Ayoze Perez currently battling it out to be Newcastle’s main creator.
But Perez’s arrival from Arsenal would significantly improve Newcastle’s attack.
Perez carries a goal threat, but he is also an excellent link-man, and possesses a great deal of creativity.
Although things haven’t worked out ideally for Perez at Arsenal, he still looks to have the capabilities to play in the Premier League.
And if Newcastle could manage to bring Perez to St. James’ Park, he may well be their most exciting signing of the summer to date.
