Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has said on Twitter that he is “very sad” that his side lost against Everton at Goodison Park on Thursday evening.

Guimaraes is disappointed that Newcastle could not win the Premier League game, and he is now looking to train and play better.

The 24-year-old Brazil international midfielder has told the Newcastle fans that the players need them in the final games of the season.

Eddie Howe’s side lost 1-0 to Everton in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

Guimaraes played well for Newcastle.

Bouncing back

In our opinion, Newcastle are in a very good position not to get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Magpies are as many as nine points above the bottom three.

Now, of course, we know that anything could happen.

Newcastle cannot afford to get complacent, but, in our view, they have done just enough to survive.

Everton, Leeds United, Watford and Burnley are the four teams who could fighting to survive the drop.

Norwich City are as good as relegated.
