Newcastle United stopper Karl Darlow has only been offered a limited amount of game time this season.

Darlow has been linked with a move away from St. James’ Park throughout January, as he has barely featured this season.
The English stopper has been ruled out with injury, and he has also sunk to second choice, since Newcastle brought in Martin Dubravka.
Darlow is clearly a talented goalkeeper and comfortably has the talent to play first-team football elsewhere.
But Benitez admits that he just cannot risk letting Darlow go midway through the campaign.
“No, that would be very difficult,” he admitted, when asked whether Newcastle would let Darlow go.
“For us to let players go is difficult. I have to consider each one carefully. At the moment they have to wait.”

Newcastle have failed to bring in any new additions in January so far, and with Benitez seemingly not having a big budget to spend, he will not want to weaken his squad further by sanctioning departures.
Darlow has proven before that he is more than adequate cover for Dubravka.
The Magpies are currently in 17th place in the Premier League table, just two points above the drop zone.
