Dwight Gayle has not featured for Newcastle United since the middle of January.
Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Dwight Gayle will return to his side’s squad to face Norwich City tomorrow evening.

Newcastle are set to travel to Carrow Road to face an in-form Norwich side, as they look to further consolidate their place at the top of the Championship table.
And Gayle’s return will be good news for the Magpies, with the striker set to be involved in Benitez’s 18-man match day squad.
Whether Gayle will start for Newcastle remains to be seen, as Aleksandar Mitrovic did score in his last outing against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Gayle’s absence has certainly been a blow for Newcastle though, as their attack seems to have lost some its threat, during the former Crystal Palace man’s time on the sidelines.

Gayle has not played for Newcastle since the middle of January, after picking up an injury against Brentford.
Prior to his spell on the sidelines, Gayle had netted a remarkable 20 goals in 24 Newcastle appearances – and he still sits at the top of Benitez’s side’s scoring charts.
