Kenedy has returned to his parent club Chelsea after a loan spell at Newcastle United.

Kenedy spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle from Chelsea and returned to the Magpies on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2018.
The winger struggled to make a huge impact at St. James’ Park this season, as he made 14 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
The 23-year-old winger has returned to his parent club, and Newcastle manager Benitez has suggested that he could try to sign the Brazilian this summer.
The former Liverpool manager, though, has admitted that the £30 million price-target of Kennedy could be a problem.
Benitez told The Chronicle about Kenedy: “I think it’s because he did so well in his first season, we were expecting, and myself, that he’d play at the same level. For different reasons he did not play at the same level. He knows that.
“We had a lot of conversations about that. It is a pity because he has all the potential to be a very good player. Now he will go back to Chelsea and we will see what is going on with him.
“But it’ll be very difficult to talk about him. They want £30million for him so it makes no sense to have a debate. He’ll go back and we’ll see what happens.”

Meanwhile, Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot has revelled on Twitter in Charlton Athletic’s progress to the League One playoff final.
Charlton have got the better of Doncaster Rovers over two legs in the League One playoff semi-finals and will take on Sunderland in the final for a place in the Championship next season.
Elliot started his professional club football career at Charlton, and the 33-year-old is pleased to see the Addicks stand a chance of getting promoted to the Championship.
