Arsenal beat Newcastle United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium yesterday.

Newcastle were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates, and Unai Emery’s side were generally comfortable in the contest.
However, it took Arsenal a long time to score the second goal which put the match beyond doubt.
And Benitez thought that Newcastle were causing some concerns at the Emirates Stadium.
“We were well-organised, we were more or less dangerous in the counter-attack but missing the final chance to make the difference,” Benitez said.
“If you don’t take chances, if you’re not precise, it’s a question of time.
“Before conceding the second goal we were pushing, you could feel the fans were nervous.”

Newcastle only had a limited amount of chances in the match, but they did have a couple of openings where they should have done better.
In the end Alexandre Lacazette was the man to score Arsenal’s second goal, after Aaron Ramsey hit the first.
Arsenal are now in third place in the Premier League table, while Newcastle sit in 17th spot.
