Sahr Senesie has informed Newcastle United and a host of European clubs of the costs for a deal to sign Antonio Rudiger in a free summer transfer at the end of his Chelsea contract.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who report Juventus have contacted Senesie in recent weeks to discuss the German’s potential availability. The Serie A side admire Rudiger’s skill to a high degree and believe the 28-year-old’s profile will suit their desired defensive plans.

But the Bianconeri are not alone in courting the centre-back as he will be a free agent from June. Rudiger is also open to extending his Stamford Bridge stay past his existing terms. Yet he has demanded that they double his €5m-a-year (£80k-a/w) wage in a four-year deal.

Chelsea are yet to accept Rudiger’s request and a separation this summer is the most likely outcome right now. The UK government sanctioning Roman Abramovich has also put the Blues under a de facto transfer embargo and cannot currently give new deals, per The Sun.

Senesie has spoken with Newcastle and Juventus regarding a free transfer for his client and half-brother, Rudiger, once his Chelsea contract expires. He has also discussed the German with Manchester United and Real Madrid to inform potential suitors of the associated fees.

While clubs will not owe the Blues anything, Rudiger will cost his suitor €55m (£46m) over his desired four-year contract. The outlay includes a €10m-a-year (£161k-a/w) contract and €15m (£12.5m) in bonuses. But the exorbitant costs have not put sides off making offers.

According to Fabrizio Romano, three teams have made Rudiger firm offers. The defender, whom Martin Keown praises considerably, is also likely to decide his next destination soon.

“He’s a real driving force for Chelsea – I love watching him play,” Keown once said, via the Metro. “I was an aggressive defender myself, but I think this guy takes it to another level.

“Defensively, he’s so aggressive. He just shuts the door. So aggressive, strong, and he really leads from the back. He’s a nuisance to play against and he’s been outstanding for them.”

Rudiger has made 39 appearances so far this season with Chelsea, across all competitions. He has also scored three goals and created four, while earning seven yellow cards to date.
