Allan Saint-Maximin faces a Newcastle United setback and is now expected to miss the game against Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
Newcastle picked up another positive result on Sunday afternoon as they drew 0-0 at Manchester United on Sunday.
The Magpies were strong defensively once again as the Red Devils just couldn’t break them down.
Newcastle will be disappointed to have not found a winner themselves with Joelinton going closest by hitting the woodwork twice.

Newcastle’s attack has taken a couple of blows of late, so we can forgive drawing the odd blank – especially after nine goals in two games against Fulham and Brentford.
Alexander Isak has been out injured since the international break having initially showed so much promise following his move to St James’ Park.
Allan Saint-Maximin is out too and that absence looks set to continue for the foreseeable future.
Saint-Maximin last started a game in August; the 1-1 draw at Wolves in which he scored a superb volley to secure a draw.
The French winger did return from a hamstring injury as a substitute against Brentford last weekend but then missed out against Manchester United.
However, the Daily Mail claim that Saint-Maximin has now suffered a setback on the same hamstring and is facing another period on the sidelines.
Saint-Maximin is now expected to miss games against Everton on Wednesday and Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
Spurs may be particularly pleased to miss a meeting with Saint-Maximin.
Tottenham were interested in signing Saint-Maximin over the summer and Alasdair Gold claimed that director of football Fabio Paratici absolutely loves the winger.
Tottenham therefore know all about Saint-Maximin’s quality and will have been well aware of how he could have impacted next weekend’s game.
Instead, it looks like Saint-Maximin will now miss out and leave Tottenham defenders breathing a huge sigh of relief.
