The Magpies ace, 18, enjoyed another impressive display for Newcastle Under-23s in their 3-0 win over their Saints counterparts.

Some Newcastle United fans have tipped Yannick Toure for big things and urged him to be drafted into the first team after the 18-year-old’s latest impressive display for the Under-23s.
Toure scored a brace to help the Magpies record a comprehensive 3-0 win over Southampton in Friday night’s game at Whitley Park and qualify from Group H of the Premier League Cup.
Luke Charman opened the scoring in the 28th minute, latching onto a loose ball following Rosaire Longelo’s free kick, and the 21-year-old duly found the top right-hand corner of the net.
Longelo then contributed to the second as his run down the left flank, beyond Christoph Klarer, culminated in a centre which was met by Toure on the turn and sent low past Jack Rose.
Toure wrapped up the victory with his second brace in consecutive matches, sliding the ball into the bottom corner of Rose’s net for goal number three for Newcastle.
Following the result, which was covered by the official Magpies Twitter account, some Toon Army faithful took to the social media platform to sing Toure’s praises:
