Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is open to a move to Newcastle United in the January transfer window amid interest from Leeds United, according to The Telegraph.
Leeds target Scott McTominay open to Newcastle move
The report has claimed that Newcastle have expressed an interest in Manchester United midfielder McTominay, who has also been linked with Leeds.
The Scotland international midfielder is worried about a lack of playing time at the Red Devils under manager Erik ten Hag and is open to a move to Newcastle this month.
Newcastle will bid for the 26-year-old in January ‘if they are offered any encouragement from Old Trafford to do so’.
According to a report in 90min last week, Leeds want to sign McTominay from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

The West Yorkshire club reportedly asked about the availability of £78,000-a-week midfielder (SalarySport), and the Red Devils told them that he is not leaving Old Trafford this month.
Newcastle or Leeds for McTominay?
In our view, Newcastle United are a far more appealing club than Leeds United for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
Newcastle are a club on the up who are going places under manager Eddie Howe.
The Magpies could end up in the Premier League top four this season.
As for Leeds, yes, they are a big club, but they were fighting for survival in the Premier League last season and are doing the same this time around.
