Newcastle United now reportedly want at least £20million for Aleksandar Mitrovic, but are they being too greedy?

Newcastle United are ready to sell Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer but only if their £20m asking price is met, reports the Northern Echo.
Mitrovic is currently on loan at Fulham and has greatly impressed in the Championship, scoring 11 goals in 15 appearances to date since joining in January.

The Cottagers are understandably keen to make the move permanent, but only if the side currently sitting in third place in the table are promoted to the Premier League.
Leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, who have already confirmed their place in the top flight for next season, are also interested, along with West Ham United.
Newcastle too greedy?
Mitrovic is not in manager Rafa Benitez’s first team plans at St James’ Park despite his fine form over the past few months and yet chief executive Lee Charnley has upped his valuation.

It was only in January that the Chronicle reported that the Magpies were prepared to accept offers of £15m for a player whom they paid Anderlecht £13m for in 2015.
Now the Tynesiders are demanding £5m more at least to let Mitrovic leave, which if they receive would make decent business but also has the potential of putting prospective buyers off when they know the Serbia international is an unwanted employee.
