Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur linked with Ruben Neves
The report has claimed that Newcastle, Tottenham, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid all want to sign Neves from Wolves in the summer of 2023.
Wolves have offered the Portugal international midfielder a new contract, but it is likely that he will move on from the Premier League club at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old’s agent, Mendes, “has made it clear to a number of suitors that Neves is prepared to leave Molineux this coming summer”, according to the report, which has added that Newcastle and Tottenham “have asked to be kept informed of the situation as it develop”.

HITC Verdict: Potentially exciting signing for Tottenham or Newcastle
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur or Newcastle United would be a better team with Ruben Neves in it.
Neves has been one of the best players for Wolverhampton Wanderers over the years and has been superb in the Premier League.
The Portuguese star was described as “a top, top player” and “sensational” by former Manchester United defender Gary Neville on Sky Sports Premier League (7:29pm, March 18, 2022).
The 26-year-old’s combative style and his ability to drive the team forward as well as hold it together in the middle of the park would make Newcastle or Tottenham better and would enhance the quality of the Magpies’ or Spurs’ midfield.
