Newcastle, Swansea and West Brom are all interested in Diafra Sakho but which would be the best choice for the West Ham striker?

Crystal Palace had been the favourites to sign Sakho but have now pulled back from the deal, with the Daily Mail reporting that Newcastle United, Swansea City or West Bromwich Albion are now the 28-year-old’s most likely destinations.
So which would be the best fit?

The Swans appear to be the team from the English top flight most in need of support in attack as they are currently bottom of the table and are the lowest scorers with 14 goals.
That said, they do already have several options in the position with Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham, Jordan Ayew, Wilfried Bony and Oliver McBurnie already at the club.
West Brom are not much better off than Swansea with 18 strikes themselves, but they too already have established first teamers already at the Hawthorns in Jay Rodriguez and Salomon Rondon – although support is probably needed.

So in truth, the side that Sakho is most likely to walk straight into the starting XI of is Newcastle, with none of Dwight Gayle, Joselu or Aleksandar Mitrovic having truly impressed this season.
Whether the Magpies, who are yet to make a single signing so far this month, can beat their Premier League rivals to the Senegal international, however, remains to be seen.
