Newcastle United sold Moussa Sissoko to Tottenham in the summer.
Newcastle United supporting England cricket hero Graeme Swann has reacted with amusement to the troubles of Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Sissoko signed for Newcastle in the summer in a big money deadline day move, but at the weekend was dropped from the squad with head coach Mauricio Pochettino stating he was undeserving of a place [via BBC].

Pochettino is unafraid to challenge the £30 million Frenchman, who has been unable to make the immediate impact Spurs fans had hoped for.
Commenting on Twitter, former England cricketer Graeme Swann commented to suggest that Sissoko’s problems come as absolutely no surprise, mirroring his performances at Newcastle last season.
If judged on last season’s performances alone, Sissoko would not have merited a move to Tottenham.
Newcastle were relegated with Sissoko among their most inconsistent players, but his surprise selection and form for France at Euro 2016 changed everything.
Despite all the evidence in front of them, Tottenham appear to have made the schooboy error of buying a player off the back of one international tournament, and it is coming back to bite them.
Pochettino has taken action to challenge Sissoko, and it is up to the midfielder to now go and prove everybody wrong.
