Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United remain interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur target and Leeds United winger Jack Harrison, according to 90min.
Newcastle remain keen on Tottenham target Jack Harrison
90min have reported that Newcastle wanted to sign Harrison from Premier League rivals Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies had bids for the English winger turned down by the Whites, who wanted £50 million in transfer fees for him.
90min have reported that Newcastle remain interested in Harrison, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, but Leeds plan to open talks with the Englishman and his representatives before January.
Tottenham were also linked with Harrison – described as ‘fantastic” by Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch in Leeds Live earlier this month – in the summer transfer window.
Sky Sports reported on August 23 that Newcastle and Tottenham wanted to sign Harrison.

January exit unlikely
In our opinion, Leeds United are unlikely to sell Jack Harrison in the middle of the season.
Harrison is an important player in the team, and the Whites will surely not let go of one of their key figures in January.
The 25-year-old has scored one goal and provided three assists in six Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.
