If Newcastle were to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart it would be a superb deal.
Newcastle United are interested in signing Joe Hart this summer after making an enquiry to Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail.
The goalkeeper has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium by manager Pep Guardiola and has admitted he expects to leave the club.

West Ham United are also showing interest, but will struggle to meet Hart’s wage demands and have therefore fallen behind in the race for his signature.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also thought to be keeping tabs should either Thibaut Courtois or David De Gea leave, but currently the Magpies are leading the way.
If Newcastle were to land Hart it would be a superb acquisition, despite the fact the England international has struggled over the past 12 months during a season long loan spell at Torino.
Before that the City stopper was considered one of the best ‘keepers in the Premier League and has twice won the competition, as well as being named in the PFA Team of the Year on two separate occasions.
Not only that but Hart is still relatively young in his position, so rather than focusing on the negatives of the past year, those in charge at St James’ Park should instead be looking at the huge positives from the Englishman’s career as a whole.
