With the Foxes midfielder rumoured to be seeking a January exit, could the Magpies trade wantaway Isaac Hayden for the Portugal international?

Adrien Silva’s time at Leicester City could already be coming to an end, if the latest transfer reports are to be believed.
The Selecao midfielder’s spell at the King Power Stadium got off on a bad note following his frozen transfer from Sporting Lisbon due to late paperwork.
After that issue was eventually put to bed, he was able to nail down a first-team place towards the end of the 2017/18 season.
However, this term has yielded just 88 minutes of Premier League football (Transfermarkt) and five appearances in all competitions.
According to The Telegraph, Silva will be bidding farewell to the East Midlands club in January, potentially on loan.
Newcastle already have two loanees on their books – Salomon Rondon and Kenedy – but they could potentially free up funds for a purchase by selling Isaac Hayden.
The 23-year-old has reportedly sought a move down south for personal reasons and is tipped to leave St James’ Park (Chronicle Live).

Both players share similar traits, being gritty, hard-working midfielders with a penchant for tackling and for having a go at goal from range.
In fact, the idea of a player swap plus cash may not even be too outlandish – Silva could get first-team football at Newcastle, while Hayden’s prospective club city is situated in the Midlands on the M1, a lot closer to the south than Tyneside.
Failing that, money brought in from Hayden’s sale to another club which suits his situation better could be used towards buying Silva, and the Magpies would get a fully-fledged international in the prime of his career.
