The West Bromwich Albion ace would be a useful addition to the Newcastle United squad.

According to a report from the Express & Star, West Brom ace Nacer Chadli can leave for just £17 million this summer, if the Baggies get relegated, and Rafa Benitez should seriously consider bringing him to Newcastle.

The Belgium international moved to the Hawthorns from Tottenham in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £13 million, but he has failed to establish himself in the Black Country.

Chadli still has so much to offer at the very highest level, though, and with the Toon’s need for another winger, he could be the ideal signing for them this summer.

The 28-year-old has earned 35 caps for Belgium – a rather impressive feat considering the world class players who he has been in direct competition with.

Chadli possesses exceptional technical ability, and plays with a certain type of directness that would certainly help add some potency to the Magpies’ attacking play.

The former Spurs man is known for being a creator, but he is not afraid to shoot himself – something that Newcastle have lacked from wide areas in recent years.

Rafa has a lot fo work to do this summer, if he is to make further progress at St James’ Park, and an excellent way to start would be to bring Chadli in from West Brom.

He is a marquee player with marquee talent, but for just £17 million, he would surely prove to be an absolute bargain.
