Stoke City have undoubtedly done very shrewd business during in the transfer window with the likes of Darren Fletcher, Kurt Zouma, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bruno Martins Indi, Jese Rodriguez and Kevin Wimmer joining the club during the close season.
The loan deal for Jese especially seems to be a steal given his performances in the two games he has pulled on in the shirt of Stoke this season. However, his performances have ensured that Bojan Krkic’s only start this season was in the first game of the Premier League (when the deal for Jese was yet to be concluded).

According to the Stoke Sentinel, Mark Hughes will let the Spaniard leave if the right offer came in for the 27-year-old. Which brings us to the question, should Newcastle United make a move for him?
The versatile forward had an impressive first two seasons in the Premier League, with seven goals in his second season when he played as a number 10 for Mark Hughes’ side. Although injuries have scuppered his development at the club, it is easy to see that the former Barcelona man is prodigiously talented.
Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez
With Newcastle in the market for an attacking midfielder, with the likes of Dennis Praet linked with the Magpies as reported by La Derniere Heure, the former Ajax man could be a perfect addition to Rafa Benitez’s side.
His ability to play all three positions across the front three, his eye for goal and most importantly his experience in the Premier League makes him an astute option for the Magpies to pursue.
