The Barcelona winger could provide Newcastle United with an extra dimension.

With the end of the transfer window drawing ever closer, there is much speculation regarding potential deals.
Newcastle United have made just one signing so far, bringing in Kenedy on loan from Chelsea, but there could well be further arrivals at St James’ Park over the next couple of days.
One player who could be an ideal addition to Rafael Benitez’s squad is Gerard Deulofeu.
The winger has struggled to make a major impact since returning to Barcelona last summer and has been linked with a loan move to Watford, as reported by The Sun.

Even following Kenedy’s arrival, Newcastle would benefit from having another winger at their disposal given how ineffective they have been as an attacking force this season.
Deulofeu’s pace and directness would surely provide Newcastle with an extra dimension as Benitez’s side look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The 23-year-old does lack consistency but he is still capable of getting into dangerous attacking areas and Newcastle should look to bring Deulofeu in if they possibly can, especially given that he has previous Premier League experience from his time with Everton.
