Jovic is being linked with Tottenham and Chelsea after starring in Germany.

Newcastle United’s desperate need for a striker to fire them to Premier League safety has been no more apparent since the end of the transfer window, and Luka Jovic would be absolutely perfect.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato claim Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are interested in signing 20-year-old Serbian striker Jovic, who has starred on loan at Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Jovic has scored nine goals in 10 league and cup outings, including five in one game against newly-promoted Fortuna Dusseldorf. It is obvious to see why Spurs and Chelsea would be keen.
But what should convince Newcastle to make a move in the January transfer window, is that German outlet Bild have claimed Frankfurt can buy Jovic permanently from Benfica for a bargain fee of just £5.3million.
Salomon Rondon has struggled to get any kind of momentum at Newcastle due to niggling injuries, while Yoshinori Muto has only scored one goal for The Toon in the 3-2 loss to Manchester United.

Newcastle sit rock bottom of the Premier League table, and have only managed six goals in their nine league outings. A striker, who can score regular goals in England’s top division, is crucial.
Jovic’s excellent form for Frankfurt in one of the Europa’s top leagues in the German Bundesliga proves that he is more than capable of scoring in the Premier League and if Newcastle can land Jovic for the bargain fee, he would be a top signing.
