Newcastle United should be looking to sign Liverpool’s Ben Woodburn.

Liverpool sensation Ben Woodburn could be available for loan, with the Express reporting Rangers are keen on his signature… and Newcastle United should be trying to compete.
Woodburn is just 18 and he is already making a big name for himself.
He scored on his Liverpool debut at just 16 and even netted for Wales’ senior team in the World Cup qualifiers.

Yet at Liverpool his path appears blocked for now, due to the incredible form of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Woodburn can play in positions across the front around the striker, and he would be an impressive loan signing for Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle.

Benitez has a proven track record of developing young players, and Newcastle represent a far more stable club than Steven Gerrard’s Rangers… which in itself is a damning indictment of the Gers, considering the Toon’s unpredictability over the years.
Woodburn would provide healthy competition for Spanish attacker Ayoze Perez, and Newcastle would be able to position themselves for a permanent deal one day should he find breaking through at Liverpool impossible.
Liverpool too should be more open to sending Woodburn to Newcastle if they show interest, as seeing him get a chance in the Premier League has to be more beneficial to them for the Scottish Premiership.
