Two Newcastle United youngsters have left the club on a temporary basis.
Newcastle United have sent youngsters Daniel Barlaser and Lewis McNall on loan for the rest of the season.
Midfielder Barlaser has joined League Two side Crewe on loan, as reported by Newcastle’s official website.
Meanwhile, as confirmed by the club’s official website, forward McNall has linked up with Conference Premier outfit Gateshead.
Barlaser has made three senior appearances for Newcastle, one of which came in the EFL Cup earlier this season, but he has found it difficult to force his way into Rafael Benitez’s plans.
The 21-year-old is heading out on loan for the first time as he looks to gain valuable experience of senior football and push on further in his career.
McNall, 18, is also set to experience his first loan spell having featured for Newcastle’s U23 side this season in the league as well as in the EFL Trophy.
While McNall still has much time on his side to convince the Newcastle coaching staff that he can be a success at the club, the same can’t be said of Barlaser, who is approaching the point in his development where a concrete decision will need to be made regarding his future.
