Newcastle United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the £8million-rated Ghanaian.
As reported by Swiss newspaper Blick, Newcastle United have scouted Young Boys defender Kasim Nuhu, and the 22-year-old could be the ideal long-term partner for Florian Lejeune at St. James’ Park.
Nuhu only signed for his current club last summer but he has quickly set about impressing, even if he made headlines for the wrong reason with a mistake against CSKA Moscow earlier this month.

Newcastle secured one fine defensive signing earlier this summer when they bought Florian Lejeune from Eibar and, while the Frenchman is currently side-lined, the Magpies need to start keeping clean sheets in order to put their poor start behind them.
Nuhu can become one of Europe’s top defenders in time, with his captain at Young Boys recently telling Blick “he can do it all”.
While Premier League football is one hell of a step up from the Swiss game, the Ghanaian could be another bargain buy from a Newcastle side eager to keep their spending to a minimum while still strengthening in key areas.
Aged 22, and valued at only £8million, it is no surprise Newcastle are keeping a close eye on Nuhu.
The question is, will they take the plunge on a potential bargain in a summer when even the most average of players usually commands a fee upwards of £30million?
