Palmer is on loan at Bristol City, and could reportedly join the Championship side for £4million.

Bristol City are reportedly looking to sign Kasey Palmer on a permanent basis from Chelsea as he continues to impress on loan at Ashton Gate – but Newcastle United were linked in the summer and should consider rivalling the Robins.
Palmer, 22, spent the first half of the season on loan at Blackburn Rovers from Chelsea and clocked up 17 appearances for Tony Mowbray’s side, scoring three goals. He left in January, though, to sign for Bristol City.
The Sun claim Bristol City can sign Palmer for just £4million from Chelsea, with the Blues expected to get their house in order ahead of a potential two-window ban.
Palmer would be a bargain at £4million and has shown in glimpses during his two loan spells in the Championship that he has plenty of potential – the kind of promise that would make him a good signing for a Premier League club.
The Daily Mail claimed back in the summer that Palmer was a surprise target for Newcastle, which would see Rafa Benitez raid his old side Chelsea for one of their brightest prospects.

Palmer boasts plenty of pace and trickery from out wide, impressing on other loan spells with Huddersfield Town and Derby County, but he has failed to make a single appearance for Chelsea.
At just £4million, Palmer would be an excellent signing and certainly a bargain for a Premier League side in the bottom half of the table. Newcastle have to consider reigniting their reported summer interest for the England youth international.
