With 16 Premier League goals for Bournemouth, Josh King is being linked with both Newcastle United and Tottenham.

AFC Bournemouth are up to tenth in the Premier League table after a late Josh King goal sealed a 2-1 victory over Burnley at the Vitality Stadium.
The 25-year-old now has 16 league strikes for the season, an impressive statistic for any player and his goals have been directly responsible for the Cherries accumulating 12 points – only Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero have earned more with 15 and 13 respectively.
This form has unsurprisingly seen King come up on a few clubs’ radars and despite the fact Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe says the forward is going nowhere this summer, the Northern Echo reports that Newcastle United have made the transfer a priority and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested.
So if the Norway international does leave the south coast, what would be his best move?
On the face of it, Champions League football and the chance to play in a Spurs side on the rise would seem the most appealing, but while King is the main man at Bournemouth there are no guarantees of a starting spot at Tottenham.

Operating in his preferred place behind the striker, the Norwegian would be competing with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen. Appearances could be limited.
As for Newcastle, some may argue that King would be foolish to leave an established top tier side for a newly promoted one. However, the Magpies are sure to sure to throw some money at their return to the big time and in Rafael Benitez, have a boss who has competed for titles in the division.
King would get increased wages at St James’ Park and would justify a starting role every week in front of 50,000 passionate Geordies. In the long-term, Newcastle could be the perfect fit.
