Newcastle United are reportedly keen on signing the Russian ace.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, Juventus have opened talks with CSKA Moscow to sign Aleksandr Golovin, and if Newcastle still harbour ambitions of bringing the Russian to St James’ Park, they will need to act fast.
According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, the 22-year-old is available for around €25 million (£22 million) this summer, and Juve’s superior financial firepower will make the Magpies’ task of signing the CSKA ace that little bit harder.

Golovin burst onto the scene with the Russian outfit four years ago, and he has gone on to establish himself as one of the continent’s most exciting prospects.
He has chalked up 13 goals and 11 assists in 113 games for CSKA – not a bad return for an orthodox central midfielder, and he will surely improve upon those numbers as he continues to develop as a player.

The Russia international would be a sensational signing for Newcastle, but if they want to bring him to Tyneside, they must act fast, with Juve reportedly entering into discussions with CSKA regarding a summer move for the midfielder.
Rafa Benitez is desperate to bolster his central midfield department at St James’ Park, and if he wants to make a real statement, beating the Italian giants to Golovin’s signature would be a real sign of intent from both the Spaniard and the Magpies hierarchy.
