Newcastle United are interested in signing Jack Hendry from Club Brugge, according to TEAMtalk.
Newcastle United interest in Jack Hendry
Eddie howe’s Newcastle have reportedly asked about the former Celtic central defender.
Burnley are also interested in the Scotsman and have enquired about the 26-year-old central defender.
Sevilla are interested in Jack Hendry as well, but all three clubs will have to wait until the summer of 2022 to sign the former Celtic man.
That’s because Hendry played for Oostende this season before moving to Belgian rivals Club Brugge and cannot feature for a third club this season.
Good signing for Magpies
In our opinion, Jack Hendry would be a good signing for Newcastle in the summer of 2022.
The 26-year-old centre-back struggled to make an impact at Celtic, but he is now doing well in Belgium and is flourishing.

The Scotland international told The Daily Record in June 2021 that he wants to become like Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk.
That is certainly ambitious, and it is this kind of mentality that Newcastle need in their players.
Hendry has made 13 starts and one substitute appearance in the Jupiler Pro League and has played six times in the Champions League for Club Brugge so far this season.
