Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have worked hard to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger and Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Moussa Diaby, according to Dean Jones.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has told GiveMeSport that Newcastle have been keen on signing Diaby for a while now and has already laid the groundwork for a potential move for the France international winger.

Interestingly, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have also been linked with the France international winger, who is “exciting” and “quick and tricky”, according to European football expert Kevin Hatchard.
90min reported last week that Tottenham, Newcastle and Arsenal had scouts to watch Diaby in action for Bayer against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League last week.

Jones told GiveMeSport: “There will undoubtedly be competition for Diaby, he is brilliant. Newcastle have put in the hard yards already though so they will hope that if they want to pick up again on that transfer, they would be ahead of anyone else.”
