Newcastle United and Fulham reportedly want Swansea City’s Jordan Ayew.

Jordan Ayew is a player in demand, with Newcastle United and Fulham reportedly interested in the Swansea City forward. Even Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with the former Aston Villa star.
According to Ghana Guardian, Newcastle are interested in signing Ayew from Swansea in the summer transfer window.
Sky Sports reported last week that Fulham, who will feature in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship, are in talks with the Swans over the transfer of the 26-year-old Ghana international forward.
Last month, both The Daily Record and talkSPORT quoted a close friend of Ayew, Nana Oduro Sarfo – who is also the director of football at Ghanaian club Berekum Chelsea – as saying that Celtic and Liverpool have shown interest in the forward.
Ayew’s family’s spokesperson Fiifi Tackie has commented on the future of the Swansea forward.

Celtic speculation
Tackie told Goal.com regarding Celtic speculation: “There was no iota of truth in the story that Celtic were closing in on Jordan. No iota of truth or whatsoever.”
Fulham speculation
Tackie told Goal.com regarding Fulham speculation: “On Fulham, according to Sky Sports, they’ve made an £8 million offer to Swansea City but I haven’t been told of any rejection.
“I heard about their offer in the news and read it also on social media but I can’t confirm or deny [that Jordan is aware of the impending deal].
“If you were Jordan, between Premier League and Championship, which one would you choose?”

Boost for Newcastle United and Fulham?
Tackie’s comments suggest that Ayew would prefer to play in the Premier League, and since Swansea will turn out in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the top flight of English football, it seems that the forward is ready to move on.
This is a boost to Newcastle and Fulham, both of whom will be in the Premier League during the 2018-19 campaign.
