Some Newcastle United fans think Graeme Jones will bring Joe Willock back into the first XI for Saturday’s trip to Chelsea.
The 51-year-old will take charge of his final game as Newcastle interim coach.
And with Chelsea being the European champions, it’s one of the toughest fixtures in the calendar.
Jones dropped Willock from his starting lineup last week as the Magpies drew 1-1 away to Crystal Palace.
But the former Arsenal midfielder cost £25 million this past summer, making him the second-most expensive player to come in during Mike Ashley’s reign as owner.
And some Newcastle fans want Willock back in the first XI against the Champions League winners.
Here’s what they’ve been saying on Twitter.
Form
You can understand why Jones dropped the Gunners product and it’s because since joining permanently, he hasn’t done much.
He netted eight Premier League goals in 11 starts for United during the second half of last season but is yet to score in any of his eight appearances in this competition this time around.
That being said, his goal threat is already firmly established and if Newcastle are going to take points off Thomas Tuchels’s side, Willock could play a big role in that.
