Newcastle United beat Chelsea 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Newcastle United ended their first season back in the Premier League with a 3-0 home win over Chelsea, securing a 10th-place finish.
Rafael Benitez’s men had already achieved Premier League survival long before their final day clash, but they still turned in a superb performance at St. James’ Park.
Dwight Gayle put Newcastle 1-0 up in the first half, before Ayoze Perez scored twice after the break to seal a 3-0 victory over last season’s Premier League champions.
Almost every Newcastle put in a fine display, but one player who divided opinion was winger Jacob Murphy, who came in for the ineligible Kenedy.

Murphy, 23, joined Newcastle in a £12million deal from Norwich City last summer (Sky Sports), but he has found first-team football hard to come by this season.
Murphy has started just 13 Premier League games this season, and it’s fair to say that Newcastle fans weren’t exactly convinced by his performance against Chelsea.
Some felt that Murphy was indecisive and looked like a little boy against the Blues, showing that he is one of the biggest wastes of money in the club’s recent history.
However, others felt that Murphy was superb and has shown that he has potential to develop under Benitez, with the winger really dividing opinion with his display on Sunday afternoon.
