Sissoko impressed for Tottenham on Wednesday night as Spurs edged past the Toon.

Newcastle United suffered a 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night and former player Moussa Sissoko reacted on Twitter following the win – only for Toon fans to reply in their drones to his post.
The 28-year-old is not held in high regard on Tyneside, after leaving the Magpies on deadline day in the summer of 2016 to complete a £30million switch to north London.
Since his move, the former Toulouse star has struggled to reignite his Newcastle form with only two goals in 80 league and cup appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Pochettino has slightly altered the France international’s position of late and is using him in central midfield, which is where he played against Newcastle as Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game to earn Champions League qualification.
Sissoko, who has three years remaining on the five-year deal he signed in 2016 worth £95,000 a week according to the Daily Star, impressed against his old side and reacted on Twitter after the match.
He described it as “a pleasure” to come up against his old side, but Newcastle fans were not so polite in their replies to the versatile star. One fan replied, saying “forgot you were playing”.
