Newcastle United are linked with the on-loan Aston Villa striker.

It’s probably safe to say that Newcastle United fans aren’t thrilled about the prospect of signing Aston Villa loanee Tammy Abraham.
The Northern Echo reported that Newcastle want to sign the 21-year-old hitman if Chelsea recall him from Aston Villa in January.
The report adds that Crystal Palace are also in the mix and that the Eagles are willing to pay around £10 million.
Abraham was heavily linked with a move to Rafael Benitez’s Magpies way back in the summer of 2017, but he elected to join Swansea City instead.
And quite a few fans of the Tyneside club believes that snub means the Newcastle boss should give him a wide berth.
It may not have been as simple as turning down Newcastle to join Swansea, but United legend Alan Shearer later revealed [The Chronicle] that owner Mike Ashley had actually ‘pulled the plug’ on deals for Abraham and Javier Hernandez that summer which, if true, clearly exonerates the youngster from any wrongdoing really.
That aside, he is clearly a wonderful young and promising striker, and one who has netted 12 Championship goals in 16 outings for Aston Villa this season.
But his Premier League record is slightly suspect after only managing five goals in 31 top-flight outings for the Welsh outfit last season.
