Former Newcastle United winger Sammy Ameobi scored for Bolton Wanderers against Bristol City in the Championship on Friday.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Sammy Ameobi for Bolton Wanderers against Bristol City.
Former Newcastle winger Ameobi featured for Bolton in the Championship game against City at the Macron Stadium on Friday evening.

The 25-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team won 1-0.
It was Ameobi’s brilliant goal in the 71st minute that proved to be the difference between Bolton and City at the Macron Stadium.
Newcastle fans were impressed with the performance of the 25-year-old winger – who left the Magpies on a permanent basis in the summer of 2017 – with many calling for his return.

Ameobi started his professional club football career at Newcastle, but the 25-year-old winger failed to make a huge impact at St. James’ Park during his time there.
The former England Under-21 international is an important player for Bolton, and has scored four goals and provide one assist in 18 Championship starts so far this season.
