Newcastle United have lost against Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle United have lost against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon, and it is clear that the Magpies would have earned a point at least had it not been for a mistake from goalkeeper Martin Dubravka late in the game.
Dubravka should have saved the shot from Son Heung-min from 20 yards out in the 83rd minute.
The Tottenham star did have the shot on target, but it was straight at the Newcastle goalkeeper, and the 30-year-old Slovakia international should have turned it away.
Dubravka, though, failed to do so, and Tottenham went on to win the Premier League game 1-0 at Wembley Stadium in London.
Some Newcastle fans on Twitter, though, seem to have already forgiven the Slovakia international, given how good he has been for the team since his move to St. James’ Park in January 2018.
The goalkeeper moved to Newcastle on loan from Sparta Prague in January 2018, and the deal was made permanent in the summer of 2018.
The result means that Rafael Benitez’s side are now 14th in the Premier League table with 24 points from 25 matches.
