Newcastle United reportedly have a deal in place for Joelinton.

Are Newcastle United close to their first signing of the summer transfer window?
According to The Telegraph, there is a deal in place for the Magpies to sign Brazilian hitman Joelinton.
The report adds that would-be manager Steve Bruce has given his approval for Newcastle to go after the 22-year-old who, according to The Daily Mail, would cost a club-record £36 million.
There is a toxic cloud which has engulfed the St James’s Park club in recent weeks after it was announced that popular manager Rafael Benitez would be leaving, having failed to agree a new contract with owner Mike Ashley.
But signing Joelinton would restore some element of a feel-good factor about Newcastle – especially if they break their club record – but some fans of the Tyneside club are divided over whether it’s true.
The worrying thing about the Hoffenheim star is that he isn’t all that prolific. Last season, Joelinton managed only 11 goals in 35 games across all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
It isn’t an outstanding return and Newcastle need to be absolutely positive that he’s a solid investment, for football and financial reasons.
