Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Jack Colback’s recent comments about Rafael Benitez.

The 28-year-old midfielder failed to impress Newcastle manager Benitez and struggled for playing time at St. James’ Park during the first half of the season.

Explaining his departure on loan from the Magpies, Colback told The Chronicle: “I’m not sure [why I wasn’t given respect], I’m not the one who should be answering that – you’ll have to ask the boss back home.
“But it’s one of them things. I’m big enough not to be too upset about it, I’ve been in the game a long time and seen a lot of things.
“I think the disappointing thing is the way it’s been dealt with. I’ve been treated like a number more than a human being.”

Colback is a good and experienced midfielder, and the 28-year-old midfielder should now look to move on.
The former Sunderland star played well for Forest against Fulham in the Championship at the weekend, and fans were impressed (click here to read more).
Perhaps the best solution for Colback would be to earn a permanent contract with Forest in the summer of 2018.
Forest are unlikely to finish in the top six of the Championship this season, while Newcastle could get relegated from the Premier League.
