Newcastle United have been linked to Andros Townsend, months after selling him to Crystal Palace.
Could Andros Townsend be in line for a remarkable return to Newcastle United, just months after he quit the club.
The Mail report Newcastle are considering a move for the winger in the summer, providing they clinch promotion to the Premier League.

Townsend signed for Newcastle from Tottenham Hotspur last January and came close to keeping them in the Premier League.
Once they were relegated he decided to push for a move back to the top flight, and signed with Crystal Palace, only to find himself in another survival battle.
Crystal Palace have not won a game since Sam Allardyce took over as manager, and they sit in 17th place at present, while Newcastle are top of the table in the Championship.
Crystal Palace’s Andros Townsend
It is understandable that Newcastle supporters feel torn on the prospect of bringing Townsend back to the club.
On one hand he took a shortcut back to the top flight rather than deciding to stick it out in the Championship, and perhaps instead they should look at more committed alternatives.
Judging on football talent alone, Townsend made a big contribution during his short spell at the club and seemed to be rated highly by manager Rafa Benitez.
Newcastle simply need to ensure first that they go on and clinch promotion, and that the decision is one they get to make at all.
