Ki Sung-yueng impressed many of the Newcastle United supporters with his performance against Bournemouth.

A number of Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to implore Rafa Benitez to keep faith with Ki Sung-yueng even when Jonjo Shelvey returns from injury after the midfielder’s superb performance in the win over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Ki was making only his third Premier League start for the Magpies against the Cherries, but is already showing Benitez pulled off a fantastic piece of business by getting him on a free in the summer.
The 29-year-old’s delicious cross-field pass led to Salomon Rondon’s second goal five minutes before the break, which ultimately proved to be the winner for the Magpies as Bournemouth responded shortly after.
And his range of passing has won him a lot of fans on Tyneside, with many adamant that he must keep his place in the team even when Benitez is able to call upon Shelvey again – which, according to a recent report from the Chronicle, could potentially be immediately following the international break.

Shelvey – who earns £70,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – has long been considered one of the most talented players in Newcastle’s squad, but Ki’s performances since coming into the team have left Benitez with a decision to make.
And it appears that many of the supporters have already decided what call they hope the manager makes once he has both options available to him after the break.
