Newcastle United lost against Watford at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joselu against Watford.
Joselu featured for Newcastle in the Premier League game against Watford at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Magpies from Stoke City in the summer transfer window, started the match and played for 69 minutes.
The Spaniard striker failed to make an impact, as Rafael Benitez’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Watford at home.
Joselu has not been exactly great so far this season, but the former Real Madrid man has still been preferred to Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Serbia international striker Mitrovic started the match against Watford on the substitutes’ bench and came on in place of Joselu in the 69th minute.
The 23-year-old striker has struggled for playing time in the Premier League so far this season.
Newcastle fans have slated Joselu on Twitter for his performance against Watford and have also criticised manager Benitez for including the Spanoard in the starting lineup on a regular basis.
