Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Isaac Hayden from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Isaac Hayden in the summer transfer window.
According to The Shields Gazette, Newcastle are interested in signing Hayden from Premier League outfit Arsenal this summer.
It has been reported that the young defender will undergo a medical on Tyneside on Saturday.
The 21-year-old, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, has experience of playing in the Championship with Hull City.
Hayden played for Hull on loan from Arsenal during the 2015-16 campaign. The youngster scored one goal and created 13 chances in 17 Championship appearances for the Tigers last season.
The England Under-20 international had a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 40%, and won eight headers, 13 dribbles and 13 tackles.
Hayden has a contract with Arsenal until June 2017, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
