Ian Wright believes Newcastle should go back in for Tammy Abraham.

Premier League legend Ian Wright has told BBC Radio 5 Live that Newcastle United should consider going back into the transfer market for Tammy Abraham this summer – but Toon fans are not so sure.
The 20-year-old Chelsea striker was linked with a move to St. James’ Park in what would have been a season-long loan, but a deal failed to materialise and instead the England youth international joined Swansea City.
Abraham has since had a somewhat mediocre season, coming in and out of the Swansea side and scoring just eight goals in all competitions – only five of which have come in the Premier League.

However, with Chelsea boasting the likes of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud with Michy Batshuayi also on loan, he faces a tall order in trying to break into the Blues’ senior side and another move could be likely this summer.
Wright said: “I was praying that someone like Tammy Abraham went somewhere like there [Newcastle] and I keep saying it because it would be an unbelievable place to score goals at and build.”
But a handful of Newcastle fans reacted to Wright’s comments by stating that they are unconvinced by Abraham and believe their side should look elsewhere, while others reckon he would have been a good signing. Some pointed out that they would rather have Kenedy.
One Newcastle fan described missing out on Abraham as having “dodged one”.
